This notice explains what this website collects when you contact Columbia Valley Web Designs and which services the website uses.

What the forms collect

The contact page's Send a Message form asks for Full Name, Email and Message. Phone, Business Name, Current Website, What do you need? and How did you hear about us? are optional.

The Get a Free Quote form asks for Name, Email and What do you need? All three fields are required.

Both forms also send the page you submitted from, the first page you visited on this website, the referring website, and any campaign details or website package carried in the link you followed. They also include a hidden spam-check field.

If you call, text or email instead, the business receives what you send that way.

Why the forms collect information

Submitting a form sends the information to Columbia Valley Web Designs so they can respond to your request. Please do not include payment information.

We don't sell or rent your information.

Form provider

This website is hosted on Netlify, and both forms use Netlify Forms. Netlify stores submissions and supports email notifications to the business, so request information can be held in both Netlify and email copies. See Netlify's privacy policy.

Each form submission is also passed to an automated inquiry-routing step, which sends inquiry details, including your message, business and project information, and page and campaign details, to Anthropic for AI classification. It excludes the separate name, email and phone fields and attempts to remove email addresses and phone numbers from other text. Other personal information you include in your message may still be sent. The function then sends a generated summary, category, suggested next step and submission link to the business through Telegram. See Anthropic's privacy policy and Telegram's privacy policy.

Third-party services

On the Projects page, choosing View Figma Design loads an embedded design and connects your browser to Figma under Figma's privacy policy.

Analytics and browser storage

This website uses Umami to count page visits and clicks on contact links and other website links. Umami does not use cookies. Pageview information includes the pages viewed, referring pages, browser language and screen size. See Umami's privacy policy.

The website's click-event hooks send event names. Its form thank-you event also sends the form type, source page, selected website package, project-type selection and campaign details. That event does not include the name, email, phone or message fields.

The website uses your browser's session storage to remember the first page visited, referring website and campaign details, and to pass form type, source page, package and project-type selections, campaign details and a submission timestamp to the thank-you page.

How long we keep it

Kept only as long as needed to respond and provide service; email or call us to have your information deleted.
